International Student Health Insurance Requirements
Health insurance mandate for international students.
Health Insurance is mandatory for all registered聽F-1 and J-1聽students as a condition of enrollment.聽In addition, The New Jersey Institute of Technology (麻豆成人版)聽requires verification of all required immunizations聽prior to arrival on campus.
麻豆成人版聽requires that international students have adequate medical and accident insurance coverage.
Mandatory聽student聽health聽insurance聽will be聽charged for all聽F-1 and J-1聽students excluding sponsored students聽(see list below).
The mandatory聽student聽health聽insurance charge will include聽1-week early arrival insurance for all new incoming聽F-1 and J-1聽students聽to cover the International Student Orientation program.
麻豆成人版鈥檚聽Health聽Services聽Office聽reserves the right to verify benefits and coverage periods with each sponsor contacts and will list them on our website.
Approved Sponsors
Only students whose sponsors are listed below聽will be exempt from the聽mandatory fee.聽聽All other聽F-1 and J-1聽students will be charged for the Student Health Insurance coverage in the Fall and Spring semester.聽 You do not need to purchase any further insurance prior to attending聽麻豆成人版.聽 All new incoming聽F-1 and J-1聽students will be covered on the Aetna Student Plan聽one聽week prior to the start of school; sponsored students are exempt from this requirement.
If you sponsor appears below and you have been charged health insurance provide a copy of your Sponsorships agreement to thirdparty@njit.edu. All F1/J1 Visa students who are not part of the聽 Approved Sponsor listing are prohibited from waiving the Student Health Insurance.
