- AwardedÌýto selected graduate students in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering on the basis of academic excellence and promise for a career devoted to advancements in the field of electrical and/or computer engineering.Ìý
HashimotoÌýPrizeÌý
- The Hashimoto Prize, valued at $5,000 is awarded each year at the Âé¶¹³ÉÈ˰æ Commencement to an outstanding doctoral candidate who has demonstrated achievement and academic excellence.ÌýÌý
- Nomination by a committee of faculty in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department for review by the ViceÌýProvost of Graduate Studies and the Dean of the Newark College of Engineering.
Bar Ness Fellowship
- Eligibility: currently enrolled student in Electrical or Computer Engineering, GPA of 3.5 or better, academic endeavors are directed toward Communications and Signal ProcessingÌýÌý
- Selection is made by a committee of faculty in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department with the concurrence of the ViceÌýProvost of Graduate StudiesÌý
PhoneTel Fellowship
- For graduate students in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering
- Recipients must demonstrate academic excellence and promise for a career devoted to advancements in the fields of electrical and/or computer engineeringÌý
Ross Fellowship
- Supports students pursuing the doctorate in the Department of Electrical and Computer EngineeringÌýÌý
- First preference: International students from Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden or other European countriesÌý
Jerome Drexler Fellowship
- Financial assistance to a graduate student in Electrical Engineering
- Based on merit to be used toward tuition or unmet financial needs
- Eligibility: U.S. citizen
- Selection made by a committee of faculty in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department with the concurrence of the Vice Provost of Graduate Studies and the Director of Financial Aid.Ìý Ìý
